Our R&D Center, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in July 2023, operates as a major innovation hub in our sector with its 1,200 m² modern indoor space and independent laboratory.

As the first R&D Center established in Turkey in the field of plaster and construction chemicals, our center leads the sector with its qualified staff. Our team consists of 1 PhD graduate, 2 senior engineers, 12 engineers, 5 chemists, and 5 chemical technicians, all of whom add value to the projects we undertake.

To date, we have completed 17 projects in the field of plaster and construction chemicals, including TÜBİTAK projects and EUREKA program projects, which are supported at both national and international levels.

Sustainability and Green Transformation

Sustainability is our primary goal in our R&D work. In this context:

  • TÜBİTAK 1832 – Green Transformation in Industry Call
    • 3248177: Using rock wool waste material as a mineral additive substitute, reducing cement use, and developing green construction chemicals.
    • 3248175: Development of formulations that minimize carbon emissions in innovative, nature-friendly, gypsum-based products.
  • TÜBİTAK 1509 – International Industrial R&D Projects Support Program
    • Eureka Project (Singapore–Türkiye): Development of hemp fiber reinforced geopolymer composites and their industrial applications.
Our Research Areas
  • Energy Efficiency: We aim to reduce our carbon footprint by up to 70% by developing products that can be produced at low temperatures as an alternative to calcination processes, which consume high energy in gypsum production.
  • Use of Local and Natural Resources: We reduce our dependence on imports, lower costs, and increase supply security by using our country's natural resources instead of imported chemical additives.
  • Circular Economy Approach: We produce new generation building materials by reusing industrial waste (fly ash, rock wool waste, slag, etc.).
  • Fire Retardancy and Thermal Insulation: We save energy with our specially developed thermal insulation mortar and offer fire retardant and fire-stopping solutions.
  • Green Composite Materials: We design environmentally friendly products that are an alternative to cement and provide 70% lower carbon emissions.
  • Process Optimization with Machine Learning: We increase energy efficiency in production processes with deep learning-based models.
