Warnings and Recommendations- No foreign materials should be added under any circumstances.
- All tools used should be washed with water before drying.
- Mortar that has passed its use-by date should not be reused.
- The surface must be clean, dry, smooth, and solid; plaster thinner than 3 mm should be scraped off.
- It should be free of roughness that could reduce adhesion.
- Significant defects or holes should be repaired with Alser Repair Mortar at least 24 hours in advance.
- Porous surfaces should be moistened and allowed to remain damp.
- Repairs under 7 mm can be made with Alser Tile and Ceramic Adhesive.
- Bare concrete surfaces should be primed with one coat of ALLASTAR primer.
- Ambient temperature between +5 °C and +35 °C.
- Should not be applied on frozen, thawing, or surfaces at risk of freezing within 24 hours.
- Should not be applied in direct sunlight, strong wind, or on hot surfaces.
- The mortar should not form a film on the surface. If a film forms, it should be re-troweled.
- Slowly pour 25 kg of powder into 6.5-7 liters of water and mix thoroughly with a low-speed mixer.
- Let it rest for 5-10 minutes, then mix again.
- Apply the mortar to the surface, adjusting the thickness with a notched steel trowel.
- Double-sided bonding should be used on floors larger than 1100 cm², walls larger than 900 cm², and all outdoor applications.
- Air should be expelled by applying force with a rubber mallet.
- Tiles must be adhered within 20 minutes.
- The prepared mortar must be used within 3 hours at the latest.
- Grout filling should be done after 2 days on the floor and 24 hours on the wall.
