Rough Plaster
PRODUCT DEFINITION
Cement-based, high-performance rough plaster mortar with enhanced adhesion and fiber reinforcement, applicable by hand or machine.
ADVANTAGES- Easy application
- Prevents condensation with high water vapor permeability, allowing the surface to breathe.
- Resistant to thermal shock.
- Fiber-reinforced, does not crack.
Used on primed concrete surfaces and primed aerated concrete, brick, pumice, aerated concrete, and ceilings in both interior and exterior spaces.
APPLICATION LIMITSThe mortar's working time is max. 1 hour.
The waiting time for the final coat application is min. 7 days.
These values were obtained from tests conducted under laboratory conditions at 23±2 °C and 50% relative humidity, and based on performance after 28 days. Values may vary due to differences in site conditions.
REFERENCE STANDARDSTS EN 998-1 GP CS IV
QUALITY CERTIFICATESCE
WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS- To increase the strength of the plaster, it should be moistened at regular intervals for 7 days after application.
- For a higher quality result and high efficiency, plaster profiles should be used at corners.
- It should not be applied to plaster surfaces.
- ALLKİM LATEX should be used to increase product performance.
- Do not add water to mortar that has passed its use-by date and reuse it.
- No foreign materials such as lime, cement, or plaster should be added to the prepared mortar.
- Application should not be performed on unstable surfaces.
- In hot weather, care should be taken to prevent the material from being exposed to direct sunlight, and the mixture should be made with cold water.
- After application, all tools used should be washed with water before they dry.
- Ensure that the application surface is cured and sound. The surface must be free of dust, grease, tar, paint, silicone, detergent, and mold release agents.
- Cracks and holes in the surface must be repaired with Allkim Flex Repair Mortars.
- For raw concrete applications, the surface must be primed with BETOPRIMER Raw Concrete Plaster Primer.
- The surface should be moistened with water if necessary.
- The ambient temperature should be between +5 °C and +35 °C.
- Avoid application in very humid, very hot, or excessively windy weather.
- It should not be applied on frozen, thawing, or surfaces at risk of freezing within 24 hours.
Slowly pour 30 kg of powder into 7.2-7.5 liters of water and mix with a low-speed mixer. Let the mortar rest for 5-10 minutes and mix again. Apply the prepared mortar to the surface with a trowel in a thickness of 1-2.5 cm. A corner profile should be used to prevent corner breakage. The plaster should be smoothed with a trowel as it begins to harden.
CONSUMPTION14-16 kg of powder per 1 m², 1 cm application.
