Perlite Plaster
PERLITE PLASTER LIGHTWEIGHT PLASTER FOR BUILDINGS, B4 (HAND-APPLIED PLASTER) 1. Product Description Hand-Applied Plaster is a plaster-based interior surface plaster with enhanced heat and insulation properties. 2. Ingredient Information Calcium Sulfate Hemihydrate+Calcium Carbonate+Calcium Hydroxide+Expanded Perlite+Tartaric Acid+Cellulosic Ether+Sodium Alpha Sulfate 3. Physical and Chemical Properties Form: Powder Odor: Odorless Color: White, yellowish Solubility in Water: Soluble in water 4. Relevant Standards/Declarations TS EN 13279-1: Building Plasters and Plastering Compounds - Lightweight plastering compound for buildings (hand-applied plastering compound) B4/20/2 CE Declaration 5. Application Areas Concrete Exposed concrete Pumice blocks Aerated concrete Brick surfaces. 6. Packaging Polypropylene laminated bag, 35 ±2% 7. Storage Conditions Must be stored in its original packaging, closed, in a dry place and on pallets. 8. Advantages Due to its chemical composition, it does not promote the growth of bacteria, mold, or fungi. It has fire-retardant properties due to the water content in its structure. It is sound-absorbent due to its porous structure. It is a building material with low thermal conductivity. It balances the humidity level of the environment, creating a healthy atmosphere. Its long processing time allows for comfortable and waste-free application. 9. Application Surface Properties The application environment temperature must be at least +5°C. Substances that prevent adhesion on the application surface (dust, oil, etc.) must be cleaned. Before application, surfaces that are dry, warm, and highly absorbent must be moistened with water. A plaster mesh should be used at the joints of different materials to prevent cracking. The surface of smooth ceilings should be roughened or primed with a material that promotes adhesion of the mortar before plastering. Trowel applications should be thin and single-layer. 10. Preparing the Mortar Pour the appropriate amount of water into a clean container (water/plaster ratio: 6 liters of water to 10 kg of ALL Perlite Plaster). Sprinkle ALL Hand-Applied Plaster onto the water. Allow the mortar to sit for 1-2 minutes to ensure complete contact and absorption of the water. The mortar is ready for use after mixing. The mortar must be used within 70-80 minutes. 11. Application Check the smoothness of the surface to be applied and determine the plaster thickness according to the surface smoothness. Anchors suitable for the plaster thickness are placed. The mortar is applied to the surface with a trowel or plastering trowel. Excess mortar is scraped off the surface by smoothing. To obtain a glossy surface, the surface is smoothed with a steel trowel after 45 minutes. Before painting, ALL Fine Applicable Plaster is applied to the surface. 12. Shelf Life The shelf life is 6 months from the date of manufacture. 13. Technical Specifications Technical specifications may vary depending on site conditions and substrate characteristics.
