Product Definition

  • Cement-based, slip-resistant, single-component granite and marble adhesive mortar containing performance-enhancing additives.
Advantages
  • Easy to apply
  • Does not sag in vertical applications
  • Reinforced formula
Application Area
  • Used for bonding ceramics with a water absorption rate below 5%, as well as materials such as granite ceramics and marble.
  • Please consult us for all other applications.

Reference Standards

  • TS EN 12004-1 / C2T class

Quality Certificates

  • CE

These values were obtained in a laboratory environment and may vary under site conditions.

Warnings and Recommendations

  • No foreign materials should be added under any circumstances.
  • All tools used should be washed with water before they dry.
  • Mortar that has passed its use-by date should not be reused by adding water.

Surface Preparation

  • The surface should be clean, dry, smooth, and solid. Plasters thinner than 3 mm should be cleaned by scraping.
  • They should be free of roughness that would reduce adhesion.
  • Significant defects or holes should be repaired with Alser Repair Mortar at least 24 hours before tile application.
  • Porous surfaces should be moistened, and the surface should be left until the water layer disappears, keeping the surface moist.
  • Repairs under 7 mm can be made with Alser Granite and Marble Adhesive.
  • On raw concrete surfaces, a single coat of ALLASTAR raw concrete primer should be applied.

Application Conditions

  • Ambient temperature between +5 °C and +35 °C.
  • Should not be applied on frozen, thawing, or surfaces at risk of freezing within 24 hours.
  • Should not be applied in direct sunlight, strong wind, or on hot surfaces.
  • The mortar should not form a film on the surface; if it does, it should be raked again.

Application Instructions

  • Slowly pour 25 kg of powder into 6.5-7 liters of water. Mix with a low-speed mixer until there are no lumps.
  • Let it rest for 5-10 minutes, then mix again.
  • Apply the mortar to the surface, adjusting the thickness with a notched steel trowel.
  • Select the trowel notch size according to the ceramic tile size.
  • Double-sided bonding is required for floors over 1100 cm², walls over 900 cm², and all outdoor applications.
  • Air should be removed by applying force with a rubber mallet.
  • Tiles should be laid within 20 minutes.
  • The prepared mixture should be used within 3 hours.
  • Grout should be applied after 2 days on floors and 24 hours on walls.
