DESCRIPTION
It is a cement-based, ready-to-use masonry mortar used for laying materials such as bricks, blocks, and pumice.
AREAS OF USEUsed for building walls with bricks, blocks, pumice, and stone.
FEATURES / ADVANTAGES- Ready to use.
- Provides ease of application with sufficient working time.
- Offers advantages in both horizontal and vertical applications.
- Saves time and labor compared to traditional mortar and prevents material waste.
SURFACE PREPARATIONThe surface to be applied must be cleaned of dust, lime, form oil, paint residues, and other substances that may reduce adhesion.
Highly absorbent surfaces should be moistened before application.
If there are any irregularities on the surface, they should be leveled using mortar.
APPLICATIONPour 4–5 liters of water into a clean container of sufficient size for one bag. Gradually add Allkim Pumice Adhesive into the water and mix with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes, then mix again for 1–2 minutes before use. Apply the prepared mortar onto the surface using a suitable notched steel trowel. Ensure the pumice block placed on the surface is fully adhered by tapping it with a rubber mallet. Continue the application in the same manner.
APPLICATION TOOLSHand mixer, notched steel trowel, rubber mallet
