Silicone Joint Filler
PRODUCT DEFINITION
Cement-based, high-performance, water-repellent, polymer and silicone-reinforced, single-component colored joint filler.
ADVANTAGES
- Thanks to its silicone-reinforced structure:
- High performance against dirt
- Easy cleaning
- Water repellency
- Maximum resistance to abrasion
- Long-lasting color options
APPLICATION AREA
Used for filling 0–6 mm joints in indoor and outdoor areas, on walls and floors, and on floors with heavy foot and load traffic. Please consult us for all other applications.
APPLICATION LIMIT
- Not suitable for use in areas exposed to high pressure (> 100 bar) and chemicals, or where hygiene is required.
- Not suitable for use in swimming pools.
- Not suitable for use on floors prone to deformation, such as underfloor heating systems.
These values were obtained after 28 days in a laboratory environment (23 ± 2 °C, 50% relative humidity); they may vary under site conditions.
REFERENCE STANDARDS

WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
- No foreign materials should be added under any circumstances.
- Mortar that has passed its use-by date should not be reused by adding water.
- For high performance, the application area should be moistened with water the next day.
- After application, all tools used should be washed with water before they dry.
- To avoid yellowing in white and light-colored grout joints, ceramic tiles should not be soaked in water before application.
- Adding more or less water than specified may cause cracking, dusting, and color defects.
- The prepared mortar should be left to rest for 5–10 minutes and stirred again for 1–2 minutes before application.
- The mortar should be filled into the joints with a rubber trowel using crosswise movements; excess mortar should be scraped off.
- When the material becomes matte (approximately 15–30 minutes), the surface should be cleaned with a damp sponge using circular movements. The sponge should be cleaned frequently.
- Unsuitable conditions (direct sunlight, wind, high absorbency) may shorten the times; wiping too early or with too much water may cause color variation.
- The prepared mortar should be used within 1 hour; hardened mortar should be discarded.
- When the joint is applied in very hot, dry, and windy conditions, sprinkling water a few hours later is recommended.
- The area can be opened for use 1 day after grout application.
The specified times are valid at a surface and ambient temperature of 23 °C; the time increases at low temperatures and decreases at high temperatures. The manufacturer is not responsible for any errors that may arise from the use of the product for purposes other than its intended use or failure to comply with the application conditions.
SURFACE PREPARATION
- The surface must be clean, smooth, and sound.
- Dust, chips, and cement residues in the joint gaps should be scraped off with a fine rod and cleaned with a brush.
- Especially on walls, the joint gaps should be moistened before application.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
- Ambient temperature: between +5 °C and +35 °C.
- Avoid application in very humid/very hot, excessively windy weather and in direct sunlight.
- Do not apply on frozen, thawing, or surfaces at risk of freezing within 24 hours.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Slowly add 20 kg of Allkim Flex Silicone Joint Filler to 7.5–8 L of water and mix until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.
- The mixture should be made with a low-speed mixer; no additives other than those specified in the instructions should be added.
CONSUMPTION
Varies depending on tile size, joint depth, and width.
