APPLICATIONSUsed as a final coating material in exterior cladding applications on rough plaster, fine plaster, exposed concrete, aerated concrete surfaces, and exterior thermal insulation systems.
FEATURES / ADVANTAGES- Provides high adhesion.
- Resistant to freeze-thaw cycles.
- Allows the system to breathe due to its vapor permeability.
- Provides easy and long-term working time.
- Provides a smooth and aesthetic appearance on exterior surfaces.
- Has water-repellent properties.
- Compensates for surface imperfections.
- Minimizes the risk of cracking with its flexible structure.
Form: Cement-based, polymer-modified powder
Color: White
Packaging: 25 kg kraft bag
Shelf Life: 12 months in a dry environment without moisture
Unit Weight: 1300 ± 100 g/lt
Pot Life: 2 - 3 hours
Working Time: 30 minutes
Application Thickness: 2 - 3 mm
SURFACE PREPARATION- The surface must be clean, smooth, and solid.
- The surface should be moistened before application.
- Avoid application in very high or low temperatures.
- A primer should be used to ensure better adhesion of the decorative plaster to the substrate.
Pour 5 - 6 liters of water into a clean container large enough to hold one bag. Allkim Flex Decorative Plaster (Thick) is slowly added to the water and mixed with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The mixed mortar is left to rest for 5 minutes, then mixed again for 1-2 minutes until ready for use. The prepared mortar should be applied to the surface in an even thickness using a suitable steel trowel, and then smoothed with a float as desired after application.
APPLICATION TOOLSHand mixer, steel trowel, spatula, rubber trowel
SHELF LIFE1 year from the date of manufacture in a dry environment free from moisture.
CONSUMPTIONDepending on the surface to be applied and the thickness, 2.8 – 3.5 kg/m² for a thickness of 2–3 mm.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS- The application environment temperature should be between +5 ⁰C and +35 ⁰C.
- Avoid application in very humid and very hot weather.
- Do not apply on surfaces where there is a risk of frost.
- Avoid prolonged contact with eyes and skin, and do not inhale dust.
- Clean all tools with water before they dry.
